Who We Are

Dry Creek Outfitters is a professional hunting guide and outfitting service. We specialize in Trophy Desert Bighorn Sheep hunts in Arizona, California, and Utah. We also offer hunts for Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, Elk, Pronghorn Antelope and Javelina. We are fully licensed, bonded, insured, and permitted. We have a full time team of professional, knowledgeable guides. Please take a few minutes to look over the information we have provided for you. Our Crew

Jason Lyman

Jason Layman Photo Jason is the newest member of our crew. After meeting Jason you will see why it didn’t take Dry Creek Outfitters long to realize that he could be a great member of our team.

Jason’s day job is working for the California Highway Patrol and has been employed with the State for over 15 years. He patrols a section of highway in the Mojave Desert that is dead smack in the center of some of the finest desert sheep country in California.

Jason comes from a strong background of love for the outdoors and hunting. Since he was old enough to pack around his first BB gun, he and his brother, father and grandpa would be out in the field. Jason received his hunters safety at age nine and didn’t waste any time in harvesting his first deer at age twelve with his bow. Jason has hunted many of the western states and Canada while harvesting many big game species along the way.

An excellent hunter, glasser and guide, Jason is someone everyone enjoys spending time in the field with. He is a humble, quiet, confident and experienced outdoorsman, as well as a trained and certified EMT.
