Forward
from Tim...
As
far as I'm concerned, there is no finer group of men around.
They are professional, honest, experienced guides. Each
one has a genuine concern for your success, safety and
enjoyment of the hunt. Their knowledge of sheep and other
southwest game is second to none. Dry Creek Outfitters
is not a one-man operation, but a solid working team with
over 85 years of combined guiding experience to draw upon.
Should you decide to hunt with us, I am confident that
you will feel the same way I do: There really is no finer
group of guides around!

Harlow |

Chris is not only a professional guide with over
25 years experience at guiding Desert Bighorn sheep
hunts, he is also a world-class taxidermist. Chris
owns and operates Harlow Wildlife Studios in Tucson,
Arizona. He specializes in both North American and
African wildlife. If you're ever in Tucson, be sure
to drop by the shop and say hello. You may just
see an African Elephant or a "record book"
desert ram or elk. Chris was born and raised in
Arizona and has explored and hunted the backcountry
since childhood. He majored in Wildlife Management
and has been trained in Desert Survival and CPR.
Chris is internationally known in the world of sheep
hunting. In the last 25 years, he has guided many
desert sheep hunts in Arizona, California, Utah
and Texas. He also guided big game hunts in Montana
for a number of years. With all this experience,
his knowledge of wildlife, his love for sheep hunting,
his excellent eyes, his easy going ways and his
commitment to the hunters he is assisting, he is
truly second to none. If that's not enough, Chris
sets up a first class camp and is a great cook to
boot! Chris is a big guy with a heart as big as
he is (if not bigger). He has added a great deal
to our outfit over the years. Simply put, we believe
Chris is the best Desert Sheep guide to be found.
Chris also guides for Rocky Mt. Bighorn, Elk, Coues
Whitetail, Mule Deer, Antelope, Bear, and Javalina. |

| Tyson
Hatch |
|
|
|
Born
and raised in Northern Arizona, Tyson is the youngest
member of our crew. You'd be hard pressed to find
a nicer guy. Tyson comes from a long line of hunters.
He's been hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors
his whole life. In fact, hunting IS his life.
In his 5 years of guiding with us, he has been
involved with many sheep hunts including several
Governor's tag hunts in Arizona and California.
His keen eyesight is responsible for finding several
Boone & Crockett rams. Tyson was fortunate
to draw a tag and take his own Desert Sheep in
the Tinaja Altas Mountains of Arizona (a tough
hunt). Experienced, knowledgeable, and extremely
hard working, he's a guide everyone loves to hunt
with. Tyson also guides for Rocky Mt. Bighorn,
Coues Whitetail, Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope and
Javalina.

|
|
Born
and raised in the Arizona desert, David resides
in Tucson. He is probably the most patient and
honorable man you will ever meet. We often call
Dave "Little Big Man" or sometimes "Ram
Sitter." An ex-Navy Seal with a voice like
Paul Bunyon, his ethics, virtue and manners are
second to none. Tough, gentle and knowledgeable,
David is everyone's choice on the crew for help
and companionship when times are tough on the
mountain. He is also extremely knowledgeable about
a variety of plant and desert wildlife. With over
25 years experience as a guide, David has helped
us out on Governor's Tag Hunts in Arizona, California
and Utah. For the past 6 years he has run a first
class Coues Whitetail camp in Mexico. Guiding
is David's year round profession and he is one
of the very best Coues Whitetail, Desert Sheep,
Elk and Bear guides around.

Tim
learned about hunting, fishing and the outdoors
from his Dad and Granddad. He has been enjoying
the backcountry since he was old enough to walk
and hunting since he was old enough to safely
carry a gun. For well over 20 years Tim has been
packing horses and mules and outfitting big game
hunts of one kind or another. In 1995 Tim was
fortunate enough to be able to dedicate most of
his efforts toward hunting Desert Bighorn Sheep.
For the past 29 years he has lived in the Mojave
Desert of Southern California, in the heart of
Nelson Desert Bighorn Sheep Country. Hunting and
guiding is his passion and his livelihood and
he spends the entire year scouting, guiding or
hunting. Having served for 12 years as Commander
of his local Sheriff's Search and Rescue Posse,
he has been trained in tracking, desert survival,
map and compass, GPS, and CPR (he can really get
you lost). During his career he has had the opportunity
to guide and assist hunters of all different levels
of experience, from all over the country in both
Arizona and California. He is a member of the
NRA, FNAWS, Grand Slam Club, Arizona Sheep Society,
Safari Club International, Rocky Mt. Elk Foundation
and Christian Sportsmen's Fellowship.

Grover
Dobyns
|
|
|
|
Grover,
affectionately known as "The Watch Dog"
is our camp cook. A quiet easygoing man
that you can't help but like from the first minute
you meet him. During the hunts he is responsible
for our camp, meals and logistics. His camps
are well planned out, neat, clean and organized.
His delicious Hors d'oeuvres and gourmet
meals are as good as it gets. After a long
hard day of hunting, Grover's warm smile, great
food and campfires are always a welcome sight.
Grover is always there when you need him
and we are honored to have him as part of our
team.
