Clay Gilbert (2017)

Clay Gibert has been a big part of the Dry Creek Outfitters crew for many years now. So when he drew an Arizona Muzzleloader Bull Elk tag, several of us on the crew just natural went along to help. On day five of the hunt, Clay took this beautiful bull with a 100 yard shot from his 50 cal. Muzzleloader. It was a great hunt and a fun time for all of us. Thank you and Congratulations Clay!!!

Cliff St.Martin (2017-2018)

Once again, one of the Dry Creek Outfitters crew drew an out of state tag. This time it was co-owner Cliff St.Martin and he drew a coveted Desert Bighorn sheep tag in Nevada’s Mormon Mountains. Cliff and his crew set up camp one month before the start of the season. We spread out and looked at a lot of country and a lot of rams in that time. On opening day, with the help of his son and guide Matt St.Martin, Cliff took the largest ram to be killed in the unit this year. It was a brutal all day stalk and a late night pack out but it was desert sheep hunting at its best. The ram scored 173 1/8 B&C. Congratulations to Cliff and his crew!

Sean Browne (2017-2018)

Sean’s hunt was in the Cady Mountains also. He arrived in camp just after Christmas, ready to go. His gun was sighted in and he was in shape for the hunt. It all paid off with this very nice ram, after a great stalk in a beautiful spot. We looked at a number of different rams before Sean made the decision to take this one. It was a great hunt, Congratulations Sean!

Adam Heil (2017-2018)

Adam drew his once-in-a-lifetime sheep tag in the Marble/Clipper Mountains, CA. The stalk on this ram was an all-day adventure. It was one of those days where the wind changed directions several times and the rams were constantly on the move. Finally, just before dark, Adams dream of harvesting a desert sheep came true. He made an excellent shot to take this old desert warrior. We hiked back in the next morning to take pictures and pack the ram out. Another fun hunt, Thank you Adam!

Brandon Hushbeck (2017-2018)

Brandon’s dad, brother and good friend Don Perrien were able to help on this hunt in the San Gorgonio Mountains. With that many eyes we spread out and looked at a lot of country and a lot of rams. After several days of looking we found this ram in a group of 15 rams. It was the next day before we could get on the group. Brandon took the nicest ram of the bunch with an excellent 300+ yard shot. The ram scored 170+ B&C. Good job Brandon and Congratulations!

Tony Phelps (2017-2018)

A severe wind storm shut us down after a few days of hunting on the first trip to the unit. Several weeks later we were able to make a second trip to the Orocopia’s. After a lot of glassing with a good crew of guides, Tony was able to harvest this once-in-a-lifetime ram. Congratulations Tony!!
